Oh hi, nice to meet you.

For nearly 20 years, Amanda Woods has thrived in the realms of Marketing and Graphic Design. However, it was during the Covid era, while balancing virtual schooling for her four young children, that she rediscovered her passion for painting, a skill she has set aside after her college degree in Journalism and Fine Arts.

Fate led Amanda to a bustling household with four wonderful children, each needing their own space. Experimenting with a closet (too dark) and the dining room (too chaotic), she ultimately transformed the back porch into her creative haven. Today, she paints in her very messy garage, with her studio dog, Camilla.

Amanda creates art as a way to explore and express what feels personal and true—and she’s lucky to work with people who are looking to do the same in their own spaces. She believes art doesn’t have to match a trend or follow a rule; if it speaks to you, that’s reason enough. She’s honored to be part of that kind of connection.

Using acrylic, charcoal, and pastel, she creates dynamic compositions that convey energy and emotion. Her work often explores the fluidity of human motion, translating physical gestures into a visual language.

Located in Nashville, Tennessee Amanda is a long-time creator and supporter of the arts. After sustaining an injury as a ballet major at Indiana University, Amanda shifted her focus to Journalism and Fine Arts, binging as many studio, graphic, and art history classes as she could. Today, she combines all of her passions in her studio so that she can share her art with you.

When she is not in her studio you can find her, dragging her kids on a hike, sipping wine by the fire pit, asking her husband to go to the mountains again, re-decorating her house (and probably not finishing whatever project she has started), avoiding laundry, and making dinner with friends for Sunday supper.
